Streamline Your Work & Communication

Keep your team in sync across the property. Roam means everyone — family, employees, contractors — can call, message, and share updates in real time, without having to walk back to the house to get a signal.

How Far Does Roam Reach?

In real-world testing, Roam performed well out to around 1 km from the base access point — enough for most paddock, fence line, and gate use cases.

Roam is a pocket-sized, battery-powered device — the trade-off for that portability is a somewhat shorter range than a fixed Connect unit. For the jobs it's built for, the coverage is there where it counts.

The Tech Behind Roam

Roam leverages a groundbreaking wireless standard designed for long-range coverage.

Why it works better than standard WiFi

Roam uses a long-range WiFi signal that travels much further than standard home WiFi and passes through walls, trees, and other obstacles more effectively. This standard is called WiFi HaLow (802.11ah).

Unlike standard WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), HaLow uses a lower frequency band (sub-1 GHz). This is key: lower frequencies travel much further and penetrate obstacles far better.

This technology was specifically built for long-range connectivity, making it the perfect choice for providing reliable internet across large rural properties.
